Entries describe how he gave holy communion to Patrick Pearse and Thomas McDonagh, and how he administered the last rites to James Connolly before accompanying him to his execution.

He also details visiting Patrick Pearse's mother on Wednesday May 3rd, telling her that he was still hopeful her son would be spared, but that she was resigned to her son's fate.
